The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp26-Ala188) of Human CD99L2 fused with a FC tag at the C-terminus. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Storage Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.

CD99L2 is a single-pass type I membrane protein and expressed in many tissues, with low expression in thymus. CD99L2 plays a role in a late step of leukocyte extravasation helping cells to overcome the endothelial basement membrane. CD99L2 and CD99 are involved in trans-endothelial migration of neutrophils in vitro and in the recruitment of neutrophils into inflamed peritoneum. A similar protein in mouse functions as an adhesion molecule during leukocyte extravasation. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
