Catalog# CI67 Source Human cells Description Recombinant Mouse CD28 is produced by our mammalian expression system in human cells. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asn20-Lys149) of Mouse CD28 fused with a polyhistidine and FC tag at the C-terminus. Names T-cell-specific surface glycoprotein CD28,CD28 Accession # P31041 Formulation Supplied as a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20mM PB,150mM NaCl,pH7.4 Shipping The product is shipped on dry ice/ice packs. Storage Store at < -20°C, stable for 6 months after receipt.
Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Purity Greater than 95% as determined by SEC-HPLC and reducing SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 IEU/µg). CD28 is one of the proteins expressed on T cells that provide co-stimulatory signals, which are required for their activation. It is the receptor for CD80 and CD86. When activated by Toll-like receptor ligands, the CD80 expression is upregulated in antigen presenting cells (APCs). The CD86 expression on antigen presenting cells is constitutive. CD28 is the only B7 receptor constitutively expressed on naive T cells. It involved in T-cell activation, the induction of cell proliferation and cytokine production and promotion of T-cell survival.
