Catalog# C948 Source HEK293 Description Recombinant Human Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 8/IGSF8 is produced by our mammalian expression system in human cells. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Arg28-Thr579) of Human IGSF8 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. Reconstitution Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Storage Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.

IGSF8 contains four Ig-like C2 type domains. The Ig-like C2-type domains 3 and 4 are required for interactions with CD81. IGSF8 may regulate proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes. IGSF8 may participate in the regulation of neurite outgrowth and maintenance of the neural network in the adult brain. It also may play a role on integrin-dependent morphology and motility functions.
