The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala37-Arg175) of Human PTHLH fused with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Reconstitution Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Storage Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.

PTHRP is known as a potent inhibitor of chondrocyte maturation. PTHRP is a critical regulator of cellular and organ growth, development, migration, differentiation and survival and of epithelial calcium ion transport. PTHRP also regulates epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during the formation of the mammary glands. During endochondral bone development, PTHRP plays a major role in suppressing the onset of hypertrophic differentiation. Defects in PTHRP are the cause of Brachydactyly Type E2.
