Catalog# CD30 Source Human Cells Description Recombinant Human Regenerating islet-derived protein 4/REG4 is produced by our mammalian expression system in human cells. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp23Pro158) of Human REG4 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. Reconstitution Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.Storage Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.

REG4 can be up-regulated by mucosal injury from active Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. In the acid environment, REG4 can maintain carbohydrate recognition activity. REG4 may be involved in inflammatory and metaplastic response of the gastrointestinal epithelium.
